  • 21 okt, 2021: Welcome to a new arena for joint innovation in healthcare – pre-launch of PiPPi Community of Practice

    On October 21 you are invited to the pre-launch of a new arena for sharing insights and finding partners to drive innovation in healthcare, the PiPPi Community of Practice. You will be introduced to a digital platform that will accommodate the sharing and collaboration. It will also enable you to give your feedback and help to develop the functionalities of the platform. The official launch of the platform is planned for the beginning of 2022.   • 20-21 September: 27th Mayo-KI Annual Scientific Research Meeting

    The Mayo Clinic and Karolinska Institutet collaboration began 25 years ago and the annual conference is part of the strategic collaborative platform between the organizationson on education, administration, research and innovation.   • Sept 16,  online: Nightingale Conference: Remote Wireless Patient Monitoring

    Five years ago, clinical specialists from five leading European hospitals funded by European Commission pre-commercial procurement arrangements challenged industry to innovate and develop wireless wearable sensor systems and smart analytics to allow remote patient monitoring that provides early warning of clinical deterioration. It is now time to share our experiences and lessons with the world, at this conference which is free to attend.   • 18 mars: Why data sharing and collaboration is key to healthcare

    Martina Ahlberg invites industry to be part of the development of a European Community of Practice, focusing on joint gathering of unmet digital healthcare needs in order to address and prepare for procurement of innovation. Martina is Innovation  Manager at the Karolinska Center for Innovation and the coordinator of the EU project PiPPi, Platform for Innovation of Procurement and Procurement of Innovation.   • 5 Feb 2021, Stockholm: Augmented Spine – Innovation, navigation and advances in spine research

    The Augmented Spine symposium at Karolinska University Hospital will focus on recent advances in spinal surgery. Karolinska and Region Stockholm have for many years highlighted the importance of research and innovation within the field of healthcare and innovation partnership with industrial partners to improve patient outcomes.   • 21 January (webinar): Procurement for Covid-19: Valuable lessons learned

    This webinar is the first in a series organized by the Platform for Innovation of Procurement and Procurement of Innovation (PiPPi). After a short introduction of the project, speakers involved in the procurement of medical equipment and technology for university hospitals in Europe will share their experiences. They will look back at the turmoil of the first months of the crisis, present their lessons learned and look forward to the challenges ahead.   • 4 november: Nordic Precision Medicine Forum

    Tomas Borgegård, Innovation Manager, talks about AI in healthcare at the forum that brings together a variety of representatives of precision medicine – from biologists, physicians and technology developers to data scientists, patient groups, governments and more. Read more about the forum 

  • 7 oktober: Hur Sverige kan erbjuda informationsdriven, individanpassad hälso- och sjukvård med hjälp av tillämpad AI
