When new to BioClinicum

Checklists for new employees and research groups.

For new employees:

  • Take the mandatory e-courses for BioClinicum. 
  • Apply for door access to the BioClinicum research center via Navet.
  • Sign up for BioClinicum newsletter to receive news and internal information.
  • Sign up for BioClinicum Service information letter to get information about ongoing maintenance work. 
  • Browse our BioClinicum website to learn more about the buildings infrastructure and management.
  • Please note the address information for deliveries etc.

 

For PI with newly appointed group member:

  • Ensure that new group members get a eTjänstekort (e-service card). For further information please contact your institutions administrator or BioClinicum Kansli.
  • Make sure that new group members take the mandatory e-courses for BioClinicum.
  • Make sure that the new group members are aware of the BioClinicum newsletter and service information.
  • To include a new research group leader within your rented premises, please contact foulokaler.karolinska@regionstockholm.se.


For the new research group:

  • If you have questions about your rented premises and rent lease, contact foulokaler.karolinska@regionstockholm.se.
  • If included equipment need to be connected to systems such as ventilation or water, a request must be made according to the routines that you find in section Premises FoUU.
  • Low temperature storage - Get information about your allocation in -80 and cryo freezes as well as login to FreezerPro (IT-system) by contacting bioclinicum.karolinska@regionstockholm.se.
    • Appoint a superuser for your group
    • Make sure that a contact person for the group is included in the contact/alarm list for freezers (Open logger Systems)
    • Make sure you know where the emergency freezers are located and the routines involved for using them.
