ME Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Karolinska University Hospital, Sweden’s leading clinic in microsurgery, organizes microsurgical courses once a year. These courses are primarily designed for residents in plastic surgery, hand surgery, neurosurgery, ENT surgery, and transplant surgery, both from Sweden and internationally.
The aim of the courses is to provide participants with a solid foundation in microsurgical techniques and to meet the growing demand for specialized expertise in these fields. With access to state-of-the-art training facilities, participants are offered the opportunity to practice essential procedures such as vascular anastomoses and nerve repairs under the guidance of expert instructors.
Karolinska University Hospital has established itself as an internationally recognized training institution in microsurgery and continues to contribute to the development of this critical subspecialty.
