European Reference Networks (ERN)
The European Refence Networks (ERN) aims to link the leading expertise in Europe in dealing with complex and rare medical conditions that require a concentration of knowledge and resources. The aim for the reference networks is to provide better care for individual patients and an increased exchange of knowledge.
ERN is closely linked together with European University Hospital Alliance (EUHA) where Karolinska University Hospital, together with eight other leading European university hospitals, runs various collaborations in order to develop and improve university healthcare.
