The childhood cancer app at SIOP's international conference in Washington
The award-winning childhood cancer app (BarncancerAppen) will be presented in Washington at the international conference organized by SIOP, the International Society of Paediatric Oncology.
The conference takes place between the 12th and 17th of October. The entire app group, including Gunnar Cleve and Linn Pettersson (pictured), will be on-site.
The app group will also visit local hospitals together with other project groups and participants from the conference.
The development of the app is an example of co-creation in innovation between healthcare staff and patients. Not only did the innovation work engage the enthusiastic app-team comprising of staff members, it quickly became the proud product of the whole Paedriatic Oncology Unit – including the patients
