Departments of Radiology

The Radiology Departments carry out advanced examinations that comprise an important component in work-up and treatment of various medical conditions. Each Radiology Department collaborates with various specialists.

The Radiology Departments are divided according to highly specialized services provided round the clock.

The departments largely make use of advanced technologies such as computerized tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and ultrasound, and also carry out treatments and procedures such as sampling.

The images are stored digitally, which makes them accessible throughout the hospital and allows for their rapid transmission to other hospitals in Sweden.

    The department is digitalized, in other words, referrals, images and information is stored in databases and are accessible to the entire hospital via normal PC's or special workstations.
  • Pediatric Radiology Solna
  • Neuroradiology and MRI Center
    Our imaging studies primarily focus on the brain and spine, but we also carry out angiographic studies and treatments, as well as conventional x-ray of the brain and spine at the department.
