The Department of Orthopedics is a department with emergency and scheduled care of patients with diseases and injuries affecting the locomotor system.
Research as well as education of future doctors and other students within healthcare professions is a significant part of the activities.
The department is located both in Huddinge and Solna, and cooperate with several other departments and institutions within Karolinska University Hospital and Karolinska Institutet.
