In our two locations, Huddinge and Solna, we provide outpatient, day care and inpatient care. The department has five main units: endocrinology, metabolism, diabetes, andrology and obesity.
There are also special units for thyroid, calcium/osteoporosis, hypertension, lipid disorders and pituitary diseases, as well as a special fertility laboratory and patient research center.
The department conducts extensive, integrated research and training in the effects of metabolic disorders on the body’s various functions, as well as active evaluations of new methods for diagnostics and treatment.
