CAST, the Center for Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplants, is located at the Huddinge division of Karolinska.
The center has 12 single rooms with private toilet, shower, exercise bike and TV. Approximately 70 transplants are carried out annually, which make it Sweden’s largest center in this field.
We perform transplants on both children and adults with results for the majority of diagnoses that are among the best in the world. Our operation is constantly being developed and we carry out research and education on an ongoing basis.
The center has approximately 50 employees and offers allogeneic stem cell transplants to swedish and foreign patients.
