Center for Cell Analysis (CCA)

The Center for Cell Analysis (CCA) is a core facility with the mission of offering high-quality service relating to cell sorting, flow cytometry, and fluorescence microscopy.

The CCA is located at Karolinska University Hospital, Huddinge, and is mainly intended to be a resource for research groups and clinical researchers on the south campus and at Novum Research Park.

The cell sorter unit is at the center of CCA operations, offering flow cytometry using a high-speed cell sorter (FacsAria and FacsDiva) with multispectral analysis and an AutoMACS magnetic cell sorter.

We conduct cell analysis of pre-prepared samples and assist with analysis of primary data.
The CCA also offers multispectral imaging and multidimensional fluorescence microscopy for analysis of cells and tissues (CFP, GFP, YFP, FRET, calcium, etc.).

We also offer advisory services for choosing methods and experimental design for cell sorting and cell analysis.
