Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Diseases

Cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases cause approximately half of all deaths in Sweden. Smoking, overweight, diabetes, lack of exercise, poor diet, high blood pressure, and unfavorable genetic factors are the most common risk factors leading to diseases of the heart, lungs, and blood vessels.
