Training/courses

Full-scale simulation is a method in which participants work with realistic simulations of diseases and accidents in a lifelike and secure setting, without any risk of harming the patient.

Videotaped simulation
Each simulation is videotaped and followed up with a debriefing. With the help of the instructors and fellow participants and by referring to the video, this technique allows individual participants to gain insight about their own strengths and about areas where they may need to improve.

The team also has the opportunity to reflect over how they relate to each other and how their behavior can contribute to safer and more effective care.

Crew Resource Management
Our courses include training in Crew Resource Management (CRM), an established strategy for safety and team coordination in operating environments. The purpose of CRM is to ensure that the team makes optimal use of available human and technical resources when faced with critical situations.
