Clinical education – KUA/KUM

Clinical education ward (KUA) Huddinge
KUA is an orthopedics ward where students studying occupational therapy, physical therapy, nursing, and medicine work in teams around the patient. Students work independently with both medical issues and caring for the patients. Ultimate responsibility for care and education rests on experienced advisors, who provide reflective guidance and are available in the background for support.

Clinical interprofessional education in an outpatient setting (KUM) Solna
KUM is a unit in the emergency room that is run by students under the management of experienced advisors. At the emergency room students have the opportunity to apply their medical knowledge and practice teamwork, with teams of student doctors, nurses, and physical therapists.
