  • Advanced Medical Simulation Karolinska
    The Center for Advanced Medical Simulation offers advanced patient simulators for training emergency care of medical or surgical diseases, anesthesiology, and intensive care.
  • Clinical education – KUA/KUM
    Orthopedic wards where students studying occupational therapy, physical therapy, nursing, and medicine work in teams around the patient.
  • Clinical Skills and Simulation Center
    The Clinical Skills and Simulation Center is a specially equipped department for practical training of clinical and communicative skills using mannequins, technical equipment, and simulators.
  • CPR Education Center
    In Sweden every year more than 15,000 persons experience sudden unexpected cardiac arrest. Most of these cases occur outside the hospital and without immediate intervention, death is unavoidable.
  • Medical Case Center
    The Medical Case Centre promotes the use of interactive training methods based on actual clinical cases in healthcare education programs.
  • Pediatric STC
    Karolinska University Hospital has Sweden's largest units for taking care of acutely ill children. In seriously ill neonates and older children the initial and emergency care may determine disease outcome.
