The department is one of the leading radiotherapy activities in Sweden with about 160 employees, located at Södersjukhuset and Radiumhemmet.
Totally there are 12 accelerators, one conventional X-ray unit, two spiral CT scanners with virtual simulation software and dose planning software.
All types of treatments are performed, including IMRT, SBRT, IORT and total body irradiation. The brachy therapy activities includes HDR, PDR, LDR and Seeds treatments.
